The C‑channel partition frame roll forming machine is designed to produce steel studs (C‑profiles) used in modular office partitions, drywall systems, and interior wall framing. These profiles are lightweight, fire‑resistant, and provide a strong framework for attaching gypsum boards or other cladding.

Why roll forming for partition frames?

Traditional wooden studs are susceptible to warping, fire, and insects. Steel studs are dimensionally stable, non‑combustible, and recyclable. Roll forming produces continuous lengths of C‑profile with pre‑punched service holes, eliminating on‑site cutting and drilling.

Production process:

Uncoiling – Motorized uncoiler (5‑10 tons), coil width 100‑300mm.
Straightening – Leveling rolls.
Servo punching – Creates service holes (for electrical wiring, plumbing), knockouts, and screw attachment slots.
Roll forming – 12‑14 passes form the flat strip into a C‑channel. Rollers Cr12MoV, HRC58‑62.
Notching (optional) – Creates corner notches for frame assembly.
Cut‑off – Flying shear cuts to length (±0.5mm).
Stacking – Automatic stacker.
