L T Structural Column Forming Machine for Architectural Frames

This roll forming machine produces L‑shaped and T‑shaped stainless steel columns used as architectural frame posts, balcony supports, curtain wall mullions, and glass railing posts. The line forms 1‑3mm stainless steel (304/316) coil into precise L or T sections with smooth, burr‑free edges. Integrated punching for base plate and handrail bracket holes. Speeds up to 10 m/min, cut‑off tolerance ±0.5mm. Surface finish options: brushed, mirror polished, or matte. Ideal for architectural metal fabricators, facade contractors, and railing manufacturers.

Stainless Steel Frame Post Rolling Machining Machines

– Elegant Structural Supports for Architecture

The stainless steel frame post roll former is a specialized line for manufacturing L‑type (angle) and T‑type (tee) stainless steel profiles used as load‑bearing and decorative posts in architectural applications. These posts are visible in many high‑end projects – balcony railings, curtain wall mullions, entrance canopies, and glass balustrades – requiring excellent surface finish and precise dimensions.

Why roll form stainless steel posts?

Extruded or cast stainless posts are expensive. Roll forming produces continuous lengths of L or T profiles with consistent dimensions, excellent surface finish, and minimal waste. The process work‑hardens the material, increasing strength without adding weight.

Production process:

  1. Uncoiling – Stainless steel coil (3‑8 tons), width 100‑300mm.
  2. Straightening – Leveling rolls with soft contact to avoid scratching.
  3. Servo punching – Creates base plate mounting holes, handrail bracket slots, and drainage holes.
  4. Roll forming – 8‑12 passes form the L or T profile. Rollers are polished Cr12MoV, HRC58‑62, with protective coatings to prevent surface marks.
  5. Deburring – Removes sharp edges.
  6. Cut‑off – Flying shear with carbide blade for clean cut (±0.5mm).
  7. Stacking – Soft‑touch stacker to protect finish.
